When Bendis was writing Avengers books, how many times did you have to add the hyphen to Spider-Man for him?brevoortformspring answered
It balanced out. Sometimes he’d put three of them in.
I own issues of Ultimate Spider-Man where Bendis hyphenated “high school” and “teenager*”. I swear I’ve also read an issue were he tried hyphenating “Peter Parker”. It’s because of B.M.B that I now hyphenate everything.
* In all fairness, Stan hyphenates a lot of compound words and phrases as well, including “teen-ager”.
